Annual Meeting Review - posted 4/22/2017

Thank you to all who attended the annual meeting on Tuesday night, either in person or by submitting your proxy. Your attendance is important and appreciated. Here is a review of the meeting minutes for those that were not able to make it.

 
Annual Meeting - posted 4/6/2017

Annual meeeting will be held Tuesday April,18th at 7:00 PM. at the Trietsch Methodist Church. Room number 215. Signs will be posted at the main entrance door the night of the meeting. Please send in your proxy if you cannot attend.

Mayor Tom Hayden will be visiting Grand Park on Saturday April 11that 8:00 PM. A great opportunity to voice concerns, send praise or hear what is going on in the town.

National Night Out “It’s Child’s Play” Tuesday, October 7 - 6:30 to 8:30 PM

Come join your neighbors for Flower Moundís National Night Out at Grand Park, located in Grand Park Estates The Grand Park Estates HOA will provide pizza, cookies and beverages. Please bring lawn chairs if you wish to sit. To keep to the theme, please wear a character (superhero, Disney, Hello Kitty, etc.) t-shirt.

 
North Brick Perimeter Wall - posted 8/15/14
Efforts are being made to repair the brick wall located at the north end of the subdivision. Residents on the north side of Grand Park Place may be contacted by the Town of Flower Mound regarding access to your lots for surveying. Repairs should begin in the next several weeks.
 
Neighborhood Watch - posted 6/9/14

After the Annual Meeting, there was interest from homeowners about a Neighborhood Watch Program. My wife, Janie Crosmer, will be attending a meeting at the Police Department on Thursday night to get additional information about the Watch Program. Janie has been asked to provide names and contact information for all homeowners who are interested in this watch program already. Please forward to scottybums@verizon.net.

Church Parking Update - posted 8/10/11

Notices have been placed on church related vehicles asking that they not use Grand Park Estates for church parking. This has resulted in a decrease in parked vehicles during church events, however there are still a few vehicles showing up on occasion. Signs will be placed near the sidewalk to the church on Saturday night and Sunday to help resolve this matter even further.

Flower Mound garners national attention as a great community as BusinessWeek Magazine recently ranked the Town one of the top 25 best affordable suburbs in the South. The top city and town ranking is part of BusinessWeek’s “America’s Best Affordable Suburbs in the U.S. by region” story. BusinessWeek noted that Flower Mound is a desirable community because of its close proximity to the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and other major cities, as well as a low cost of living.

Homeowner Fences - posted 1/15/07

Just a reminder that fence maintenance is the responsibility of each homeowner for the fences that stand on their property. Common fence repair should be agreed upon by the two homeowners that share these common fences. The HOA maintains the brick walls that surround the community and or properties within. If you do notice brick that needs attention please contact a board member.
